One line summary: The title kinda says it all – Emily is in debt and resorts to criminal activity to earn her way out.

The Deets: It was fun to see a fresh, new film that was released this year. The intense Aubrey Plaza plays Emily and she’s excellent (not an easy role). The movie could have easily fallen into cliche, but the writing, pace, and editing are just good enough to keep us locked in and waiting to see if she gets away.

Perfect for: Anyone looking for a good, modern thriller with a badass female lead.
