One line summary: The lives and loves of four couples intertwine in this underrated (IMHO) Australian mystery.

The Deets: I haven’t seen this movie in almost 20 years (since it was released), but I think of it often – the texture is pitch perfect, the acting authentic and sublime, and the narrative keeps you guessing until the reveal. It gets into you and stays there, leaving you with more questions than answers even though the mystery is solved.

Perfect for: Aussie film lovers, and especially if you like a slow burn.
