“With a Friend Like Harry”

My Rating: 3.82/4

One line summary: Two school classmates randomly reunite while on holiday – a series of dark and unexpected events ensue.

The Deets: I think we saw this French gem 20 years ago, and I can still recall it, including many of its humorous details. You don’t know where the director is taking you, and then you can’t believe what transpires; it’s an utterly shocking and delightful experience, and I highly recommend it. (It’s kinda like a superior, French version of “The Gift.”)

Perfect for: A French Hitchcockian evening.

Where to watch: You gots to rent it, wherever you get your streaming.
