My Rating: 3.71/4 (aka A fun watch)

One line summary: The story of a con man who falls in love.

The Deets: Bravo for the chemistry between a young, feisty Margot Robbie and the pre-slap, hit the one note Will Smith. They make this movie work, even if the plot and the gags aren’t always consistent. Stay with it, because I really applaud the ending, which I did not see coming. In fact, it keeps you guessing a few times, uncertain who is playing who and when their actual feelings for each other may get in the way of their con work.

Perfect for: A plane ride, or if you’re in the mood for a movie that’s just plain fun and pretty.

Where to watch: You can rent it on streaming, and it was also playing on a recent Delta flight.

Food pairing: Something that goes well with a con, probably involving French fries.
