“Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid”

My Rating: 3.98/4

One line summary: The duo of Butch and Sundance wreak havoc, drop one-liners, and get chased from Wyoming to Bolivia.

The Deets: Yes, I just watched this one again. And yes, I am back again with the OG and best buddy movie ever made – Newman and Redford, George Roy Hill, and quite simply a perfect (and surprisingly quirky) film. I have seen this one too many times to count, and every time I pick up something new – from the witty, William Goldman dialogue, to the almost-out-of-place musical interludes, to the glorious, modern cinematography. And Katharine Ross is sublime, too.

Perfect for: Newman and Redford lovers, and anyone with an affinity for Westerns. But really you should see it at least once.

Where to watch: You need to rent it on streaming, but of course I bought it.
