My Rating: 3.68/4 (aka A very fun watch)

One line summary: Big Nick follows Donnie to Europe.

The Deets: Even though I would have enjoyed this solid sequel more on the big screen, it was still a great watch on a recent flight, and it will very likely get a re-watch because it’s got just enough slick action and beautiful scenery to keep you going. Of course, nothing beats the OG. Gerard Butler does his fantastic best to continue the raw Big Nick character, but he was much better in the first one, especially as he was wrapped in the “Heat”-inspired mirror to criminal Merriman (played by the imposing Pablo Schreiber). This time around we get more Donnie and more elegant scenes, and a fantastic car chase – just don’t expect to be surprised when it ends.

Perfect for: Anyone who loved the original “Den of Thieves” and you’re ready for some more Big Nick action.

Where to watch: You can now get it on your favorite streaming service, and you won’t regret it.

Food pairing: Pizza, beer, nachos, and anything else greasy to go along with Nick’s vibe.
