“The Fugitive”

My Rating: 3.92/4 (aka Get it done)

One line summary: The manhunt for Dr. Richard Kimble, wrongly accused of murder.

The Deets: You’ve probably seen this gem from 1993; if you have, then it’s worth a rewatch because it still holds up 30 years later… if you haven’t, then you must, you might say they don’t make films like this anymore, because they don’t. So much to love about this blockbuster: two fantastic leads – including trademark Harrison Ford looking scared and Oscar-winner Tommy Lee Jones in his breakout role; a sharp, witty, memorable script; Chicago as the setting is gritty and authentic; and it’s a really well-paced film, where we learn all we need to through the credits, and then we are off to the races (literally)! I’ve seen it more than a dozen times and each viewing brings a new, fun dimension that I notice. Sit back and enjoy every one of the 130 minutes, and you’ll wish it was even longer.

Perfect for: When you want some pure thriller entertainment fun, and especially if you’re a Tommy Lee Jones or Harrison Ford fan.

Where to watch: You can rent it on Amazon Prime, and it might be worth the purchase (I did).

Food pairing: Gotta go with Chicago on this one, classic deep dish pizza, you choose the toppings.
